Obituary of Louis Larson

Louis Edward Larson Jr., 64, of Mora passed away on May 22, 2008 at Fairview-University Hospital after a five year battle with cancer. He was born September 9, 1943 in Elkton, Maryland to Louis and Beryl (Beall) Larson. As a child he moved to Minnesota with his mother and grandfather. They lived in Minneapolis, Cloquet and Mahtowa. On February 20, 1973 he was united in marriage to Rose Dailey in Osseo. They would move to Maryland to help is grandparents, and later moved to Delaware for a short time before moving back to Minnesota. The past six years they lived in Mora. Louis worked at Marsdan Maintenance and other various jobs. More recently he did leather and saddle repair at Pleasant Hills Saddle Shop, and Big Ed's. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, races, and horses. He loved the Black Hills and riding in the Buffalo Roundup in Custer State Park. He was a member of the Sheriff's Posse in Sherburne County. Louis is survived by his wife Rose of Mora, daughter Shawn Larson and granddaughter Alyssa of Blaine, mother Beryl Godden of Robbinsdale, as well as many other relatives and friends. Louis lived every day to its fullest and joked about everything.
