Obituary of Thomas Pratt

The Lord now has another angel to help Him watch over all of us - Thomas Alan Pratt, 64, of Cambridge passed away after a long illness on September 20, 2014, at GracePointe Crossing in Cambridge, MN. Tom was born on May 6, 1950, in Minneapolis to Tom and Hazel Pratt. Tommy had wild youth, getting in trouble and very nearly died in a car accident. Actually he was rather accident-prone … he was mowing the yard and lopped off half of one of his big toes, and got his hand smashed in a freight elevator of the furniture company where he worked. He loved to travel and visited nearly every state. Tom served in the Army during the Vietnam Era. He had a great sense of humor and loved his family dearly. Tom is predeceased by the love of his life, Dee Mettling, sister Sharon Lindgren, his parents, and nephews Shane Pratt and Jeremy Pratt. Tom is survived by his daughter Kathy Pratt (Mark Anderson) and grandchildren Nevaeh & Nolan Anderson, brothers Dave Pratt (Sue Lawrence) of Cambridge, Tim (Gayle) Pratt of Brook Park, sisters Debby (Juan) Rangel of Eden Prairie, and Becky Rudenick of Brooklyn Center, brother-in-law Pete Lindgren, aunt Myrt Rudenick, and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
