Obituary of Jerry Wicken

Jerry Lee Wicken, 59, of Cambridge, formerly of South Minneapolis died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul. He was born on June 29, 1952 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Gerald and Phyllis (Gable) Wicken. Jerry grew up in South Minneapolis where he attended grade school and graduated from South High School. Jerry spent much of his adult life in Minneapolis and within the past few years moved to Cambridge to be near family and friends. Jerry enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and especially enjoyed his trips to Duluth and the Wisconsin Dells. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Cambridge and loved his church and church family. He was preceded in death by his father. Jerry is survived by his sons Teddy Wicken of Minneapolis, John Wicken of St. Cloud and Jerry Wicken, his mother Phyllis of Golden Valley, brothers Steve and Rick Wicken, sister Sherry, special friends Susie Andreasen of North Branch, Chauntel (Dan) Lesmann of North Branch, Tony Tomasko of Minneapolis, grandchildren Jesse and Abby Lesmann, Tony Tomasko, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
