Obituary of Douglas Doberstein

Douglas Wayne Doberstein, 53, of Braham, passed away on October 29, 2014 at Abbott Northwestern hospital at the age of 53 from complications after a heart attack. Doug was born on February 12, 1961 to Harold & Ruth (Linnemeyer) Doberstein in Braham, MN. He graduated from and lived in Braham, worked construction, put up fencing and tended bar. He enjoyed his friends, family, animals, camping, fishing, gardening, cooking, canning, baking, playing cribbage and just being outdoors. He had a dry but wonderful sense of humor. In recent years he dedicated most of his time to caring for his father. Doug was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Doberstein, Grandparents, Gustave and Matilda Doberstein, Henry and Emilie Linnemeyer. Doug is survived by 3 children, Brandi (Eric) Mueller, Heather Doberstein and David Doberstein, brothers and sisters, Alan (Kristy) Doberstein, Cindy (Jim) Svare, Craig Doberstein, Teresa Erbstoesser, father, Harold Doberstein, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives.
