Obituary of Jimmy Fluguear
Jim Fluguear, age 70, of Cambridge, passed away December 6, 2014, surrounded by his family.
Jim was born October 19, 1944 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Mathew and Jennie Fluguear. When he was 12 years old, he moved with his family to a farm near Isanti, Minnesota. He enjoyed playing basketball in school and graduated from Cambridge High School.
On October 26, 1963 Jim married his high school sweetheart Eileen Smith. This union was blessed with two wonderful sons, Jeff and Jason.
Jim worked at various jobs before starting work at Motek Engineering in Cambridge. He worked there for 32 years and retired in April 2004 as plant manager.
Jim enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and doing yard work, but most of all he loved his family and spending time with them. They were his pride and joy.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Eileen; sons Jeff of Duluth, and Jason (Jennifer) of Elk River; and two grandsons, Tate and Beck, who were his little rays of sunshine. He is also survived by his brothers, Dick and Bob; sister Joyce; sister-in-law Carol; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Jerry and Bill; and nephew Brian Aamold.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
