Oh, how precious is our memory of Tami at age 10, when she was a "Junior Bridesmaid" in our wedding! (6-25-71)! Several months later, she came "home" with us to Ohio, and spent a fun week at our house. We had special times together, and whenever we came back to visit in Minn. we were able to "connect" through the years - she always had hugs and smiles for us and for our children. I remember being SO happy that Juanita and Chuck had welcomed her as their own, and she had such wonderful experiences as their daughter!! It has been close to 44 years since I left Cambridge, and she always kept in touch and shared the great news of her marrage to Alan, and the birth of her precious Kaaren and Jonathan. She was so sweet to my parents while they lived in Cambridge. Tami left a huge "empty space" in your family for SURE. We are praying for your comfort, knowing that she is with Jesus, and will never again feel pain or sickness, and we will SEE her one day! If the flight costs were not so prohibitive, I would have joined you for her going home memorial celebration! 'Hugs and sympathy to all!

I worked with Tami for many years at the Cambridge Hospital and I always knew she was a very special person but I really got to know her in 1995 when our daughters were part of the Cambridge Ambassador Team. We went to so many parades that year and we became experts at loading the float, taking down the float, bringing food and water, getting little brothers Ben and Jonathan in the van or cars and of course taking Juanita and Chuck along. We all became great friends. I learned that year what great parents were and you guessed it-Tami and Al! My husband Gary and i remember it as being one of the best ;years of our lives.
