I am so very Sorry for the loss of your Mother. My daughter Allie, my Mother Doris Williams and myself all traveled to Laughlin to met Uncle Art & Aunt Jeanette. We did this two years in a row. Though I didn't have any recollection of meeting them before, it was like we had know them all of our lives. I wished I could have gotten to know Aunt Jeanette and Uncle Art better and felt cheated after meeting them for all the lost years and time that were lost. So sorry to hear that this time has come for her and to all the family that will deeply miss her! I remember when I was younger and driving to Cambridge to stay with the grandparents and playing barbies with Kelly and my brother and Brian would always have a hay day on their golf cart. Jeanette was one of the kindest, nicest persons in the World. I don't ever remember a cross word coming out of her mouth. She and Art made my visits with the kids to their house so enjoyable. I will never forget the unbelievable fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes she would make for us. An incredible person, adoring mother and grandmother she will be missed dearly by all who were lucky enough to know her. My deepest condolences to Pam & Jim, Jan & Tom, Marci & George, Deborah and Jon & Debbie and all of the grandchildren and other relatives.

Our deepest sympathies to you and your family. I remember the one trip I had up there with Brian and met the Grandparents,very sweet people. Brian and I drove Grandpa's golf cart rather hard and he had just gotten it fixed I believe.Boy we had a good laugh. We spent the weekend trying to rent "Lionheart" from the little movie rental place they had up there. Grandpa couldn't believe we watched it about 4 times over about 2 days. Grandparents are very special to the Grandkids, and to everyone else for that matter. I know she'll be dearly missed.

My aunt and Godmother, Jeanette, will always have a special place in my heart and in my memories of growing-up. The "Sherstads" often gathered at the Marlton home in Cambridge for family food and fun. Aunt Jeanette always welcomed us warmly, treated us to our family favorite "scotcheroos", and sometimes found the time to play piano for us! She never got seriously mad about our taking turns riding in their dumbwaiter, either! She was, and will always be a family matriarch, in the eyes of her many neices and nephews. We saw that she was always interested in us and supportive of us, and we all felt the love that glowed in her beautiful face and smile, and the fun that twinkled in her eyes and bubbled-over in her giggle. I was lucky enough to experience all of this again, just two months ago in Grantsburg, when she was feeling well! She loved her parents, her wonderful sister (my other Godmother), and her brothers, and was proud of her daughters, her son, her grandchildren and great-grandchild. I know that she kept us all in her prayers daily, through our good times and rough times, and through her immense and steadfast faith, she became a role model for each of us in our life's journey with God. I will miss seeing her, visiting with her, giving her a hug and kiss, but I know that she's with her God, her "first" family, her beloved Art and Kyle, and so many others who have preceded her, and will be waiting in greet those of us who are left behind. I was blessed to have her in my life and she will remain, always, with me in spirit. That's the kind of aunt and Godmother she was and will continue to be!

We were so sadden to hear about Aunt Jeanette. I can imagine the reception she received as she stepped into her heavenly home. I am sure Grandpa & Grandma along with brothers, sister, nephews, grandson and friends welcomed her with loving arms. What a wonderful thought to know that we will spend eternity with her. Jeanette had Grandma Sherstad's sense of humor and had such a quick wit. She loved to laugh and enjoy life. She seemed to be a very kind person and was always interested in others. Aunt Jeanette, you will be missed.
