Obituary of Helen Berg

Helen Marie Berg, 87, of Cambridge, formerly of St. Paul and Gheen, MN passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Grace Pointe Crossing, formerly Grandview Christian Home. She was born on May 1, 1921 in Duluth, Minnesota to Leopold and Elizabeth (Bergman) Berg. She grew up in Gheen, Minnesota and graduated from Cook High School in 1937. After high school Helen attended business school and earned a degree in accounting. Helen lived in St. Paul and worked at the Ford Assembly Plant for over 32 years in the accounting department, from which she retired. After retiring, Helen remained in St. Paul and the past few years were spent at the Grandview Christian Home. Helen was preceded in death by her parents Leopold and Elizabeth Berg, sister Elsie Thoreson, brothers Elmer and Stanley Thoreson.
