Obituary of Louise Peterson

Louise Marie Peterson, 58, of Cambridge passed away on Monday, November 3, 2008 at her home after a courageous four month battle with cancer. She was born November 4, 1949 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Louie and Gladys (Growhowski) Luberacki. She grew up in the Camden neighborhood of Minneapolis and attended grade school at St. Mary's Catholic School. She graduated from Minneapolis Henry High School. She later married and had two children John and Tina. The children grew up in Cedar and Louise worked at FMC, while working there she met Mark Peterson. On November 29, 1993 she and Mark were married; they made their home in Cambridge where they had purchased a farm home northeast of Cambridge. Louise worked at various jobs over the years including Presto Print and Northland Landscaping. She earned a degree in Human Services and worked as a Personal Care Attendant for several years. Louise enjoyed gardening, doing crafts with mosaic tiles, fishing and going to the cabin. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed helping people and touched many lives over the years. She was preceded in death by her son John Zaycheck, parents Louie and Gladys Luberacki. Louise is survived by her husband Mark of Cambridge, daughter Tina and husband Matt Gilberg of Braham, stepson Roy Peterson of Waseca, seven grandchildren Trenten, Jesse, Alex, Max, Brooke, Regina and Lilly, sisters Patty and husband Jim Peterson of Texas, Julie and husband Tom Cross of Bloomington, brother Louie and wife Gail Luberacki of Andover, as well as many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
