Obituary of Milton Smisek

Milton Joseph Smisek, 71, of North Branch passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at his home. He was born on May 17, 1937 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Joseph and Anna Smisek. Milton lived throughout Minnesota in State Schools and in June 1993 moved to the Cambridge Regional Human Services Center and in 1997 moved to Forslin Supported Living, now Success Homes, and resided at homes in Cambridge and most recently North Branch. Milton enjoyed watching war movies, studying United States Presidents, especially Abraham Lincoln. Religion was an important part in his life, Milton found comfort in Catholicism. He also enjoyed reading, loved animals, farm animals and especially loved Lily, the dog that lived at home with him. He was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by aunt Mary Schmitt of Forest Lake, and by his friends that lived with him at home.
