Obituary of Hildur Jacobson

Hildur A. Jacobson, of Cambridge, MN, formerly of Duluth, MN passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at GracePointe Crossing �" West. She was born in Duluth, MN to Axel and Annie (Backstrom) Lundgren on November 7, 1910. She grew up in Duluth and graduated from Denfeld High School. She worked as a secretary for many years at the Board of Trade. In 1939, she married Rueben Jacobson and they moved to Cleveland, Ohio. After Mr. Jacobson's death, she went to work as an office secretary at West Shore YMCA in Westlake, OH and was later a secretary for Geiger's, Inc. in Lakewood, OH. In 1978 she returned and moved to Delray Beach, FL. In 1994, Hildur moved back to Minnesota to Mill Ridge Commons, a retirement complex in Cambridge, MN. Hildur is survived by many nephews and nieces and many dear friends.
