Obituary of Marilyn Reineccius
As the snow softly fell on Saturday afternoon Marilyn went to heaven to be with her Lord. After many years of physical health issues her suffering is over.
Marilyn Elsie Reineccius, 74, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2008 at GracePointe Crossing West in Cambridge, MN.
Marilyn was born December 29, 1933 in Bradford, MN to Gust and Elsie Larson. She grew up on a farm, and attended Kienitz School and Cambridge High School. On January 25, 1957 Marilyn was united in marriage to Russell Reineccius. They made their home in the Cambridge area. She was employed at Memorial Hospital as a ward secretary for several years. She was a life long member of the Oxlip Evangelical Free Church. Marilyn enjoyed playing the piano and singing. A trip to Sweden in 1976 along with her parents was a memorable experience for her.
Due to a stroke in 1994, Marilyn has been a resident of GracePointe Crossing West. Marilyn's family faithfully visited her during this time.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell in 2005, infant daughter, Karen, brother; Melvin, and nephews Aaron and Timothy Larson.
She is survived by sisters, Carolyn Johnson and Ruth Magnuson, both of Ham Lake, MN; brothers, Maynard (Helen) Larson of St. Cloud, MN, Bob (Bev) Larson, Wes (Wanda) Larson and John (Liz) Larson all of Cambridge, MN; sister-in-law Jan Larson of Cambridge, MN; Uncle Ed Anderson of Sun City West, Arizona and Aunt Eunice Otto of Minneapolis, MN, and many nephews and nieces.
