Obituary of Audrey Lindgren

Audrey Lucille Lindgren, 93, of Eden Prairie, formerly of Cambridge passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at the Golden Living Center in Bloomington. She was born on December 11, 1915 in Isanti County, Minnesota to Henry and Hilda (Anderson) Dobbe. She grew up near Cambridge where she attended country school and graduated from Cambridge High School. On October 20, 1934 Audrey was united in marriage to Stanley Lindgren. They had one daughter Shirlee. They lived in many areas, and spent several years in south Minneapolis. They spent winters in Florida and also had a cabin in Annandale. Stanley passed away on July 3, 1985. Audrey remained in Minneapolis for a few years and spent the last several years in Eden Prairie, and most recently at the Golden Living Center in Bloomington. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Stanley, and daughter Shirlee Dresser on May 26, 1986. Audrey is survived by her sister Eleanor From of Eden Prairie, brother George Dobbe of Minneapolis, grandsons Jonathan and wife Minnie Winfrey of Bloomington, Mark Winfrey of Milwaukee, WI, four great grandchildren Elliott, Benjamin, Jacqueline and Jennifer Winfrey, as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
