My beloved Steve: The holidays are here and my heart continues to ache for you - you are such a Christmas Elf and I miss your decorating - as crazy as they were. I think a Porche grill over the fireplace with flashing lights was your best and the addition of the deer antlers just finished that beautiful creation of yours last year.
I love you, my lifelong partner. My 50+ years at your side was such a gift. Last year you told me you would "never be finished loving me". I feel the same about you. Sharron

Sharron, We were so sorry to hear about Steve. Our hearts go out to you and your family. As Bob does so much tree cutting and wood working, we know how quickly Steve's fall happened. It happened to Bob once and he, too, fell from a tree with his chain saw. But he was just lucky that day. We can also appreciate how a man who loves his trees is always going to be in there taking care of them. You are in our prayers during this hard time.

Dear Sharron, Eric, Amy, Matthew, Lisa, Jonathan, and all of Stephen's family and loved ones, My deepest and sincerest sympathy to you. Stephen and I worked together at the Red Cross and what a joy he was to work with! He always had a way of seeing the best in all situations, which included his great humor and wit.
