Obituary of Daniel Lenzen

Daniel Burton Lenzen, 51, of Stanchfield died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at the Cambridge Medical Center. He was born May 25, 1958 in Carver County, Minnesota to Burton and Diana (Heitkamp) Lenzen. Dan grew up in Dalbo where he attended country school. He was confirmed at Salem Lutheran Church and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1976. After high school Dan worked for Motek Engineering. On June 4, 1977 he was united in marriage to Vicky Anderson at the Salem Lutheran Church in Dalbo. They raised their three children in the Dalbo area. Dan worked for NTM Machining in Fridley for over l5 years. He also lived in Cambridge and most recently in Stanchfield for the past seven years, Dan enjoyed his time playing men's softball, hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He also enjoyed following the Twins, Vikings and NASCAR. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Brad Lenzen. Dan is survived by his children Shari and husband Billy Norling of Mora, Kristi Lenzen (Jeremy Woods) of Forest Lake, Jeff Lenzen (Theresa Mills) of Braham, two grandchildren Dagen Seiberlich and Tayla Lenzen, sisters Brenda and husband Bob Helms of Oklahoma, Bridget and husband Jim Durham of Arizona, as well as other relatives and numerous friends.
