Obituary of James Treichel
James Lee Treichel, 57, of Cambridge, formerly of Princeton and Anoka, died on Monday, August 31, 2009 near his home.
He was born on October 17, 1951 in Mahnomen, Minnesota to Orville E. and Berniece (Pederson) Treichel. Jim grew up in Anoka where he attended grade school and graduated from Anoka High School in 1969.
Jim worked at Honeymead Products in Fridley for 17+ years and later worked as a carpenter, primarily residential remodeling. He enjoyed classic cars, listening to country music, spending time with family and friends, and was an avid reader. He lived 20+ years in Princeton, and for the past 1 ½ years has lived west of Cambridge.
He was preceded in death by his father and is survived by his three children, James D. Treichel of St. Francis, Philip Treichel of Colorado, and Anna Treichel of Lindstrom; grandson Justin Treichel; mother Berniece Treichel of Annandale; sister Dorene and husband Clyde Stein of Big Lake; brother Orville J. and wife Deborah Treichel of Andover; former wife Sue Treichel of Lindstrom; as well as several other relatives and friends.
