Obituary of Jayne Allexander

Jayne C. Allexander, 84, of Crystal, MN passed away on Friday, April 6, 2012 at the Crystal Care Center. She was born on August 6 1927 in Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada to Joseph and Julia (Jambois) Chretien. The family moved to Richfield, MN where Jayne attended school. After graduating she worked at Sears on Lake Street in Minneapolis for several years. She would later move to Crestview, Florida and raise her three children there. She would eventually move back to Richfield and later St. Paul. The past six years she was a resident at the Crystal Care Center. Jayne worked as a fundraiser for the Republican Party. Devoted and loving mother her children were here greatest joy. She enjoyed reading, going on walks, was passionate about politics. She was up on the trends of today, and was very artistic creating drawings and sketches. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Karen Chretien. Jayne is survived by her son Neil Redmond of Laurel Hill, FL, Duane Redmond of Mobile AL, daughter Denise and husband Tim Northagen of Maple Grove, five grandchildren Austin and Kevin Northagen, April and husband Michael Bernard, Daniel and Jason Redmond, three great grandchildren, sister Margaret and husband John Maeurer of St. Paul, Brother Edward Chretien of Isanti, sister Shelly Neis of Northeast Minneapolis, as well as nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
