Today is Wednesday the night before Thanksgiving....I just found out about Dusty, and my heart is breaking! Dusty and I were good friends for about 5 years. I had Dusty at my house a number of times when I lived in Rush City. I was going to open a coffee shop in Harris, and Dusty was helping me with it! I also just found out that her Mother passed away in 2007. It must have been a short time after I talked to her that she passed, and I am so sorry about that as well. I am at a loss for words at the moment. I hope Dusty knew how much she meant to me thoughtout all of these years. It just goes to show me and hopefully every one else that may be reading this to not lose touch with our family and friends, because it is gut wrenching to find something out like I did tonight about Dusty. May She Finally Rest in Peace, and Have her beautiful Smile and beautiful eyes shinning with happiness. I LOVE YOU DUSTY and I am so sorry for losing touch with you!!! PLEASE REST IN PEACE SWEETHEART! I know she had a sister Denna, if you read this could you please email me. I would like to talk with you, and find out what happened! Again, I am so sorry for your loss.....God Be with you and your Family!!!!

What a wonderful tribute to an amazing woman today. Witnessing the outpouring of love and support for Dusty, along with the personal tributes, was beautiful. Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your daughter, sister and friend. I know Dusty had demons that she struggled with, and I often found myself praying for her to have the strength to break free from them. I was happy to get in touch with her on Facebook and to hear how well her life seemed to be going, I was proud of the woman she had become. I am saddened by what happened, what she must have been feeling, a sense of lonliness, desperation, sadness, hopelessness, whatever it was...now she is at peace, God has wrapped His loving arms around her and taken her home. I pray that you find comfort in your memories of her and in His amazing grace. God bless you all. Christi

I Just want to say I am really sorry for the loss of your daughter I never knew her and I was just looking at Obituaries and I am a prayer warrior I just pray for people I lost my father back in May of colon cancer he battled it for 5 years and I have had numerous friends who have commited sucide not sure how you lost your daughter but I just want to tell you keep god close and never give up faith in the lord I was so mad him for taking my boyfriend when I was 16 in a drunken driving accident and then taking my sister to a drug overdose and then my father it just seemed so unfair how such good people were just gone. Those are things not for us to understand that is god's plan. and we all will be reunited one day. My heart felt sympothy goes out to your family. May I suggest a book for you to read its called purpose driven life really makes a good point on why we really are here and what our purpose is even if its for a short while. May god bless you!

Dusty radiated sunshine! I will remember her smile, the way she lit up a room, her easy going charm, and her compassion for others. I pray now that her soul will be at peace and that she will watch over those of us who are blessed with her memory.

I grew up with Dusty and in all the years of knowing her the thing that sticks out in my memories of her are her smiles. She had a wonderful smile. She will be missed. I am so sorry you have such terrible pain - no one knows the pain of losing a child until it happens to them. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. She will always be with you in your hearts and memories. She is at peace now, the lord has called her home, she has done her duty on earth.
