Obituary of George Forschen
George Clarence Forschen, 64, of Bradford passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at Park Nicollet - Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park.
He was born December 25, 1944 in Onamia, Minnesota to George and Barbara (Samuelson) Forschen. When George was young, the family moved closer to the metro area for a short time. They would move back near Milaca where George would attend school. After his schooling, George worked at St. Cloud Poultry & Egg for some time.
On March 20, 1965 he was united in marriage to Linda Englund in Milaca. They made their home near Bradford where they raised their son David. George worked at the Dalbo Creamery, Crown Creamery, Princeton Creamery, Crawford's Gas Station, the Cambridge Egg Plant and several years as a landscaper with Bill's Sod and Landscaping from which he retired about five years ago.
George enjoyed snowmobiling and was a member of the Mystic Riders Snowmobile Club. He also enjoyed racing cars, fishing, and going to auctions.
He was preceded in death by his parents George and Barbara Forschen, step father Ken Larsen, great nephew Nolan Englund, parents-in-law Arnold and Marie Englund.
George is survived by his wife Linda of Bradford, son David and wife Denise Forschen of Cambridge, brother Larry Larsen of Milaca, sisters Linda and husband Keith Lein of Fergus Falls, Laurie and husband Sherwin Anderson of St. Cloud, brothers-in-law Bobby and wife Nancy Englund of Hinckley, Jerry and wife LeeAnn Englund of Wahkon, sister-in-law Cindy and husband John Shockman of Braham, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
