Dear Peter, Ruth and Sharon, It has been years since I have seen many of you, but I ran into Peter and your dad at McDonalds a couple of years back. It was so good to see you Peter. I have so many fond memories from back when we were little, coming over to your house when you were still on the farm. I can still walk through that house in my memory. I am so sorry for your loss. He has such a good long life. I know he will be miss dearly and there won't be a day that goes by that you won't think of him. Hold your memories close to your heart. You are all in my thoughts and prayers in the many days to come. Take care~ Kathy (Einer & Lois's oldest daughter)

Dear Peter, Sharon & Ruth, We were so sad to hear about Uncle Willie's passing. But we have such good memories of him and we wanted to share them with you. When they came to visit us about 14 years ago, we took them out on our boat to watch the fireworks over Lake Michigan. We all had to wear coats it was so cold that year. Two things that really still make us smile are "Willie" memories. When we would go into a cafe Willie would always put sugar packets in his pocket. Ron asked him why he did that since he did not use sugar in his coffee. Willie said "because they are free" and then he would give out that wonderful laugh that he had. Ever since then, we talk about how we earn "Willie Points" when we save money, use coupons or get something absolutely free :) The other memory is when we took Uncle Willie and Aunt Virginia fishing on the pier on Lake Michigan. I have always opposed the "catch and release" kind of fishing, so Willie made me really grin when he insisted on eating every kind of fish that he caught. He caught some fish that the other people said he should just throw back, but Willie insisted we take them home and cook them. And so we did! We had a great fish fry and a wondeful three days with them. We were both so glad that they came to Michigan to spend time with us. We will always cherish those memories. Love to all of you, Cousin Margo & Ron Rinehart Holland, Michigan
