Obituary of Clifford Dahlin

Clifford Dahlin, 87, of Cambridge passed away on Friday, January 22, 2010 at GracePointe Crossing Gables East. He was born on January 21, 1923 in Scandia, Minnesota to John and Laura Dahlin. Clifford grew up in the Scandia area and attended the Tin Box Country School in northern Washington County. After his schooling he worked at various farms in that area for several years. Clifford also worked for the Minnesota State Parks, clearing and building paths at St. Croix State Park. He would move to Cambridge and work several odd jobs in the area including mowing and lawn care at the Cambridge Lutheran Church. He had been a resident at the Cambridge Health Care Center, now GracePointe Crossing Gables East for several years and even up until about a year ago worked for Industries Incorporated doing assembly work. Clifford enjoyed bird watching, working on paintings and other crafts, doing word find puzzles and especially like to visit and talk about old times. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Wilford who was killed in England during World War II. Clifford is survived by cousins, other relatives, friends and staff members at GracePointe Crossing Gables East.
