Obituary of Kirby Titus

Kirby K. Titus, 63, of Cambridge passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at home. He was born April 10, 1946 in Bemidji, Minnesota to Robert and Jean (Marcus) Titus. The family moved to Waukesha, WI and resided there a few years before moving to Minneapolis. Kirby graduated from Washburn High School in Minneapolis. He went on to attend the University of Minnesota and earned a bachelors degree in Journalism and Philosophy. He married Laura Baker and they had two children, Duncan and Jason. They were married for 20 years and lived a number of years in California and later South St. Paul. Kirby worked for the St. Paul Pioneer Press newspaper for many years and was a freelance writer. He was preceded in death by his son Duncan, and mother Jean. Kirby is survived by his son Jason and wife Alysha Titus of Los Angeles, CA, five grandchildren Krystal, Alexandria, Christopher, Nicholas, and Samuel Titus, father Robert Titus of Bloomington, sister Gayle and husband Bill Kingsbury of Bloomington, former wife Laura Hanson of Cambridge, as well as a number of other relatives and friends.
