Obituary of Rita Cope

Rita Irene Cope, 74, of Cambridge, formerly of San Diego, California passed away on Friday, August 6, 2010 at GracePointe Crossing Gables West. She was born September 20, 1935 in San Diego, California to Cecil and Thelma (Hoffman) Allen. Rita grew up in San Diego, graduating from Sweetwater High School. She went on to attend San Diego College and graduated, receiving her nursing degree. She worked as an Emergency Room Nurse for 27 years at Paradise Valley Hospital in San Diego. Rita is survived by her children Rima Anderson of Minneapolis, Robert and wife Leah Cope of Millington, MI, Rhonda and husband Frank Washburn of Oak Grove, eight grandchildren, Michael Washburn, Rory Anderson, Risa Anderson, Breanna Washburn, David Washburn, Adam Cope, Rain Anderson, Rylyn Anderson, two brothers Roy and wife Mary Allen of Ventura, CA, Barry Allen of Junction City, OR, as well as nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
