Obituary of Huong Duong

Huong Thi Duong, 50, of Cambridge and Hue, Vietnam passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at her son's home surrounded by family. She was born on July 1, 1960 in Hue, Vietnam to Sanh Phuc Duong and Hoang Oanh Thi Kim. Huong grew up in Hue and her parents passed away when she was nine years old and she lived with other families while in Vietnam. In July 1982 she was married to Nhuong Tran in Hue, Vietnam. To this union five children were born. They remained in Hue until 2001 when Huong's brother Son and his wife Candace Duong sponsored the family and they moved to Cambridge, MN. They lived with Son and Candace for a short time before purchasing their own home. Huong worked for a few years at the Cambridge Launderers and Cleaners. She enjoyed fishing, cooking and traveling back to Vietnam. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Cu Duong. Huong is survived by her husband Nhuong Tran of Cambridge, sons Nhan Tran and wife Thao Ton, Thang Tran, daughters Phuong Tran, Thanh Tran, and Van Tran all of Cambridge, granddaughter Ngan Tran, brother Son and wife Candace Duong of Cambridge, sister Hong Duong of Anoka, and several nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
