Obituary of Lyle Hanson

Lyle Harvey Hanson, 75, of Cambridge passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Monday, December 25, 2006 at North Memorial Medical Center. He was born on July 8th, 1931 in South St. Paul, Minnesota to Herman and Marie (Randall) Hanson. The family moved to Albert Lea, MN where Lyle attended school. In 1950 the family moved to Cambridge, it was there that Lyle met Loretta Anderson. They were married on October 4, 1958. Lyle and Loretta made their home in Cambridge. Lyle worked for Consolidated Freightways for 34 years, Cambridge-Isanti School District 911 as a bus driver for 33 years. Lyle also drove ambulance for the Cambridge Hospital. After retiring from Consolidated, he spent his days driving bus and working in the yard. Lyle enjoyed spending time with is family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Loretta, children Pam, Greg (Betty), Brian (Bernadette), Michelle (Dave), Chris (Lindsey), 15 grandchildren, Pat Jr. and Joe, Nicole and Nick, Amanda, Brandon, Jonathon and Rebecca, Ashley, Taylor and Austin, Hunter, Ethan, Mikaela and Gracie, sisters Iris Raths, Norma Anderson, Nancy (Vicki), brothers Skip (Ena), Gene (Cathy), Vernon (Pat), and many other caring and loving family. Lyle was preceded in death by his parents Marie and Herman, brothers Bud, Marvin and Merle, sisters Lois Triplett and Rita Hanson.
