Obituary of Frederick Roe

Frederick Lee Roe, 59, of Isanti died unexpectedly on Friday, January 26, 2007 at his home. He was born April 16, 1947 in Minneapolis, MN to Willard and Frances (Tousley) Roe. He lived in several areas while growing up and graduated from Hopkins High School. After graduation was entered the United States Air Force and served during Vietnam from March 1967 until March 1973 when he was honorably discharged. He later married Denise Whiteoak and the couple lived in the Mankato area where they raised their two boys. Fred also attended Mankato State University where he received an accounting degree. The family later moved to Buffalo and also lived in Rockford. Fred worked for a time in Hazelden Cork, Brown & Bigelow, Bondus and most recently at P & M Truss. In 1998 he married Bonnie West in Cambridge and they made their home in Isanti. Fred was a member of the Cambridge American Legion and the Isanti VFW. He loved fishing, duck and deer hunting, and cross country skiing. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Catherine Roe. Fred is survived by his wife Bonnie of Isanti, sons LeeMichael and wife Coreena Roe of Kando, ND, Brandon and wife Angie Roe of White Bear Lake, two grandchildren Brianna and Alexis, as well as another soon to be born, step son Todd and wife Jennifer Peterson of Grand Rapids, step grandson Talon Peterson, sister Nancy Bauer of Kinnear, WY, nephew Matt and wife Sara Leininger and their son Nick of Watertown, MN, niece Sara Leininger and daughter Danielle of Prior Lake.
