Dear Doug, Karen, Adam and Sara - Please accept my condolences on the sudden loss of your dad and grandpa On the heels of his wife's death last summer, that is a difficult grief package. I saw his name (how many "Flink" families can there be??!!) - when I went to the Cambridge Funeral Home site for information on Marilyn Taus, my sister Yvonne's very good friend and artistic mentor, who at age 54 just died of cancer and is on the same website page. I also noted that Dr. Nils Friberg officiated. Nils was my longtime academic adviser and professor at Bethel Seminary, and we journeyed with him and his wife Audrey as she battled with cancer for 3 years before dying last fall. I can only imagine the depth of his sermon, having lost a dearly beloved life partner recently. -- Anyway, this seemed like quite a coincidental discovery, and I wanted to offer my words of sympathy to you all. ~Cher
