Obituary of John Fredrickson

John Andrew Fredrickson, 54, of Moundsview passed away on Friday, February 2, 2007 at his home. He was born March 21, 1952 in Minneapolis, MN to Irving and Mary (Coulter) Fredrickson. John proudly served the United States Navy in active duty from 1969 through 1973, and served in Vietnam. John also proudly served the Minnesota Department of Corrections from 1977 through 1998 as Lieutenant, and had many letters of commendation/appreciation with merit awards in 1995. He was a very avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors. He will be missed dearly and thought of every day. John is survived by daughter Jolie Dugas of Princeton, son Jacob Fredrickson of Knoxville, TN, grandchildren Madeline, Jamin and Landon, brother Jerry Fredrickson of Mounds View, sister Colleen Nozal of Rice Lake, WI., as well as other relatives and friends.
