Our deepest sympathies to all of you. We were so sorry to hear of Harriet's death. She has been on my mind so much lately and I should have contacted one of you rather than just think about her. I feel badly that I did not keep in touch with her much after Mom died and I failed to get her address after she left Northfield. I have so many good memories of times with your Mom--everything from visiting in Monte and her visits to my folks in Hutch and at the cabin, to her wonderful baked treats. (Whenever I taste a chocolate toffee bar, I always think of Aunt Harriet!). She and Katie shared a birthday so occasionally we celebrated together. We are unable to come for the funeral as Jerry is filling in for a pastor from Olivia who is on vacation. I was thinking I could make it to the graveside service in Monte but I just realized that I'll be alone in the library that afternoon. Oh, I feel so bad!! You have all been so wonderful at being at any family event that we have and now I cannot do anything. Our thoughts and prayers are certainly with you all. Love, Judi & Jerry
