Chris, What a vibrant testimony of a Faith that works! We read your Mother's obituary on-line. You have an overflowing storehouse of beautiful memories to have had a Mother like that. Our natural choice would have been that she could have stayed here for many more decades. The Blessed Promise is that we will be both together again---for a "Forever" reunion. (I Thess 4:13-18) You are the only member of the family that we really know; do share our love with the others as well. We will see you at the Memorial Service which will be in reality an Affirmation of Resurrection. Pastor Hal & Jean Kamppi ---(Jonthan's Grandparents)

To the Hirsch Family, I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with Kaye at the Central Ave. group home. Her kindness and care for others was obvious during her time working there. I continued to stay in contact with Kaye to get her advice on designing and decorating my first home. After I married, my husband and I found ourselves out for a drive one night, after getting some ice cream and we came across an old farm house we just had to see. So out came the cell phone and we called Kaye. She arranged for us to see the house that very evening. It was destined to become our house. Kaye helped us through the process of purchasing the house as our realtor, but as our friend she helped us through a difficult time as my father in law passed away during the purchasing process. After we moved in Kaye came over several times to help us decide on decorating ideas, she helped us make the house, into our home. As I look around she is represented here in our home as the warm colors that wrap their arms around us and hold us and keep us safe, the flooring that is strong and holds us up. A floor that needs to be swept of all the tracks that a muddy dog and husband who dont wipe there feet leave across it, which proves this home is lived in. A yard that we have worked so hard on clearing and cleaning up and have planted living beauty in it all around. In our yard we will sit on our swings and look toward heaven, knowing that Kaye is smiling down on us. I know she will always be with us; all we have to do is look around to see her. We were lucky to know her, and honored to call her our friend. With deepest sympathy, Belinda and Joel Blomgren

Dave and family; Until you meet your wife, mother, sister and grandmother again, we offer prayer for God's Grace to fill the void. Kaye was special. You all were blessed as were others who were touched by her presence. God's Peace to you. Kindest Regards The Werleins

Dave, Christian, Cassie and all family, I was, of course, shocked when Sandie O called to tell me the news. I have been praying for you and remembering Kaye's ministry in early childhood when I was at the church, and all she did to help me make my first house a home. You have lots of adjustments to make. Take them one at a time in your own time and trust in the One who understands it all.

It's hard to understand why people are taken from us, but find comfort in knowing you were a special part of such a well-lived life. I wish I knew her as much as I know Dr. Hirsh, I think she would have given me much wisdom and humor in so many ways. When your hearts feel empty, fill them with happy memories that will help find your smiles. Love, Pam

Dear Dave, Christian and Cassie and family, I do not know if there are words to tell you how deeply I feel the loss of my beautiful friend. We spent so much time together at Coldwell Banker. Kaye was a friend, a sister, a mom and a mentor. We laughed and cried and propped each other up and cheered each other on. Kaye lived life in service to others - to her husband, to her children, to her family, friends and to this community. She set such a wonderful example of what it means to be a Christian. It was the way she lived her life. Kaye always seemed to gleam with happiness and life. She was the type of person who others gathered around. I am so blessed to have had Kaye as my friend. Kaye loved each of you so deeply. Dave and Kaye == definitely soul mates. Christian and Cassie, your mother loved you so and was so very very proud of both of you. I want all of you to know that Vern and I understand your grief. Vern's mom, Janyce, passed away at the end of March. Today, I saw Christian in Cambridge. I wish I could have expressed myself better, Christian. The tears are just too close at times. Kaye's beautiful spirit will be kindled by so many people. We will continue to be blessed by memories of her. Our hearts are with you. Vern and Tracy Heinze, Cambridge
