Obituary of Mabel Ruel

Mabel Ruel, 92, of Cambridge passed away on Friday, April 27, 2007 at the Grandview Christian Home. She was born on February 2, 1915 in Sandstone, Minnesota to Henry and Clara (Ostgarden) Skogen. She moved to Kenyon, MN at an early age and was baptized and confirmed at Hegre Lutheran Church in Skyberg. In 1933 the family moved to Grandy, MN. On October 1, 1955 Mabel was united in marriage to Russell Ruel at Cambridge Lutheran Church. The couple resided in Minneapolis all of their married life. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Russell; brother Ken Skogen; sisters Gladys Johnson and Crystal Schoenwald. Mabel is survived by her sister Hattie Anderson of Cambridge, and several nieces and nephews and friends.
