Obituary of Gerald Bloom

Jerry Bloom, 75, of Cambridge passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at the Grandview Christian Home. Gerald Emmanuel Bloom was born December, 14, 1931 in Springvale Township, Isanti County, Minnesota to Monroe and Anna Larson Bloom. He was the oldest of 3 boys. After returning from the Korean War he lived in California, where he met and married Ruth and instantly became a father to her young son Joe. They later divorced. He married Carole and from that union he not only gained a wife, but four teenage children, Larry, Kirk, Sandra and Kayleen. They were later blessed with a daughter of their own, Michele. They later divorced. He had interests in various areas during his life including farming, carpentry, and business. He is survived by Carole Bloom- Montana, Joe(Julie) Bloom-Oregon, Kirk (Cheryl) Gordon-Minnesota, Sandra Blanco-Utah, Kayleen(Jeff) Hockett-Montana, Michele (Mike) Jones-Utah, 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. The family wishes to express sincere appreciation to Dr. Anderle, the nurses and staff at Grandview and special friend, Rae Kedrowski for their loving care.
