Obituary of Kathleen Armstrong

Kathleen Mae Armstrong, 45, of Isanti passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at her home at Shady Oaks. She was born on December 16, 1965 in Kitzingen, Germany to Robert and Charlotte (Otis) Armstrong. The family eventually made their home in Cambridge where Kathleen attended school and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1984. Kathleen went on to attend Cambridge Community College to become a nursing assistant. She worked for several years at the Cambridge Health Care Center and the past eight years she worked at Shady Oaks, where she also lived. Kathleen loved to bake, enjoyed playing cribbage and Texas Hold 'em and poker. She was the "Queen" of everything. She enjoyed all of her nieces and nephews and loved to entertain and was a very giving person. She enjoyed the trips she made with family to Branson, Las Vegas and New York. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her siblings Sandra Armstrong, Steven (Jan) Armstrong, Robert (Cheryl) Armstrong, William (Norma) Armstrong, Shirley Armstrong (William Leaf) all of Cambridge, Mary Armstrong (Gordy Hunt of Isanti, Jim (Heidi) Armstrong of Princeton, many nieces, nephews, friends and special friends Clayton Buzzell and family.
