Obituary of Lillian Hendricks

Lillian Elaine Hendricks, 82, of Cambridge, formerly of Dalbo passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at GracePointe Crossing Gables West. She was born August 25, 1928 in Springvale Township, Minnesota to Oscar and Amanda (Olson) Beckman. She grew up in the Isanti County area, attending country schools and graduating from Cambridge High School in 1947. After high school she worked in Minneapolis for a couple of years. On June 15, 1950 she was united in marriage to Everett Hendricks in Bemidji, Minnesota. They would purchase a farm in the Karmel area of Isanti County. They raised their daughter Carol and farmed the home farm for over 40 years, retiring in the early 1990's. Everett and Lillian remained in the home after retiring. They enjoyed caring for the home, yard, flowers and their gardens. Everett passed away in 2001. Lillian was able to care for the home until 2008 when she moved to GracePointe Crossing Gables West. Lillian was a wonderful loving and caring person. Lillian enjoyed baking, cooking, crocheting, sewing, quilting, and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Amanda Beckman, husband Everett and brother Carl Beckman. Lillian is survived by her daughter carol and husband Steve Bergren of Mora, two granddaughters Jennifer and husband Brad Oliver of Cambridge, Kristine Bergren of Duluth, great grandson Grant Oliver, sister Gladys and husband Jerome Thomas of Dalbo, as well as numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
