Obituary of Estelle Kowal

Estelle "Stella" A. Kowal, age 84, of Cambridge, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, June 20th, 2011. Survived by her sister, Eva Koppie (Paul); children, Mark (Almaz), Pat (Debbie), Toni (Jim), Kathy (Joe), Andy (Pam), Peggy, Jackie (David), John; grandchildren, Michelle, Sean, Jennie (Jeremy), Chris, Jenny (David), Sara, Christopher, Jacob, Ryan (Kim), Lucas, April, Katie Mae, Ryan, Sean; great-grandchildren: Tiasha, Tichelle, Miko, Lea, Kamryn, Sebastian, Sophia, Shawn, Dylan, Jessyca, Jezzalyn, and Jerricka. Stella was an amazing woman who, together with her husband, Stan, raised eight children. She was born and raised "Nordeast" and had many roles in her life including housewife, seamstress, Mary Kay consultant and then successful business woman running ESKO Enterprises, a silk screening company in Arizona, for a number of years with her husband. Together they returned to their roots in Minnesota and spent their final days in Cambridge. Stella loved music and dance, especially the polka. Each one of her children had to either study dance and/or a musical instrument. She also loved to design costumes for the studios where her children danced.
