Obituary of Michael Hagen

Michael Lee Hagen Sr. 61, of Cambridge, formerly of North Minneapolis passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at GracePointe Crossing Gables West. He was born on July 4, 1950 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Duane and Fern (Anderson) Hagen. Mike grew up in North Minneapolis where he attended North High School. In May 1970 he entered the US Army and served in the Vietnam War, stationed in Korea. He was honorably discharged in December 1971. While he was serving in the military he married Linda Tweeter and they had one son Michael Jr. Mike worked several years in construction and also owned and operated Racer's Exchange Bar in North Minneapolis. He enjoyed fishing, racing cars on dirt and asphalt, and figure eight. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Helen Hagen. Mike is survived by his son Mike Hagen Jr. (Ronda) of Blaine, grandson Bradley Hagen, siblings Duane Hagen of Minneapolis, Deborah (Larry) Hager of Isanti, David Hagen of St. Cloud, Patricia Maeder of Fridley, Douglas Hagen of Austin, MN, Mary (George) Bazoff of Blaine, special friend Vicki Kuhrke of Cambridge and her daughters Nikki (Ian) Pratt of Ogilvie, Michelle Schule of Robbinsdale, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
