Obituary of Gregory Thul

Gregory William "Pup" Thul, 51, of Cambridge died unexpectedly on Saturday, August 13, 2011 in Lancaster, New Hampshire. He was born September 29, 1959 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Elmer and Thelma (Smith) Thul. He was raised in Columbia Heights where he attended grade school and in 1974 the family moved east of Cambridge. Greg graduated from Cambridge High School in 1978. He enjoyed playing baseball throughout high school and played Legion baseball where he earned the nickname "Pup", since he was the young one on the team. After high school he worked at a few different jobs, including Plastech where he worked a few years. He would go on to become an over-the-road truck driver which he enjoyed doing for the past 15 years. Pup enjoyed golfing and playing softball. He was preceded in death by his mother Thelma in February 2003 and father Elmer in August 2004. He is survived by his sister Florian Bisset of Big Lake, brothers Terry and wife Judy Thul of Oak Grove, Dan Thul of Pinewood, Doug and wife Gina Thul of Cambridge, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
