Obituary of Leeta M. Hartnett

Leeta Myrtle Hartnett was born on December 2, 1927 to Jakob and Myrtle Fichtenberg of Davenport, WA. She died June 21, 2015 at her son’s home in Cambridge, MN. Leeta grew up on a small farming community with her brother Wesley. She attended Davenport High School; graduating in 1944. She went on to Interior Design school at Spokane Fall Community College. She worked for JCPenny as an outside consultant and then went on to finish her Interior Decorator career with Ethan Allen in Federal Way, WA. She married Kenneth B. Hartnett shortly after graduating high school, residing in Spokane, WA, and had two beautiful children; Laurie and Kevin (Michelle). She was blessed with four grandchildren; Linda (BJ) Babb, Tom Fox, and Ben & Kallan Hartnett. She is also survived by her special nieces; Dana (Jerry) Parker and Leslie (Jeff) Warner. During her retirement she loved to play tennis and cards with friends. She travelled to Europe and Italy, but she truly cherished her time with her family.
