Obituary of William R. Bayne
William R. “Bill” Bayne, 51, of Isanti died on Thursday, July 30, 2015 in Kanabec County.
He was born on July 13, 1964 in Springfield, Ohio to William and Margaret (Apgar) Bayne. Bill grew up near Mount Orab, Ohio and graduated from Western Brown High School in 1983. After high school he would work at various jobs while in Ohio.
Bill had a daughter, Jessica, in May 1986 with first wife, Jacqueline Justice. They lived in Ohio and would later divorce. He went on to marry Jenny Raleigh and they had one son, Joshua, in January 1994, and also lived in Ohio. Bill moved to St. Paul, MN, after his second divorce, and worked at various jobs while there. Bill met Krista Halvorson in September 2001 and the two were married on March 24, 2006. They would make their home in the metro area until August 2008 when they moved to their home in Isanti. In June of 2007 they met their daughter Maia, whom they adopted November 21, 2009. In 2008 his son Josh moved from Kentucky to live with him full time in Isanti. Bill and Krista were in the process of adopting three little boys, and planned to finalize the adoption in September.
Bill would begin working at Boston Scientific in 2004 and was currently working there as a Product Builder II.
He was a member of the New Hope Community Church, where he was actively involved on the pit crew, in small groups, and played on their softball team. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and watching football. He was a great father and husband; a wonderful family man being totally devoted to his wife and children. He gave his all in this life and had a huge servant's heart of gold.
Bill was preceded in death by his father and grandparents. He is survived by his wife Krista of Isanti, daughter Jessica Bayne of Ohio, son Joshua Bayne of Coon Rapids, daughter Maia Bayne of Isanti, 3 foster children, mother Margie Apgar of Ohio, sisters Catherine (Steven) Grilz of St. Paul, Kimberly Bayne of Ohio, brother Randy (Lynette) Bayne of California, as well as numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
