Obituary of Kathryn Ann Hamm

Kathryn Ann Hamm, age 75 of Coon Rapids, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at home, surrounded by family. Kathy was born in Alexandria, Minnesota on July 12, 1940 to Richard and Bernice (Sende) Sandberg. She attended High School in Alexandria and on June 6, 1959 she was united in marriage to Dwayne Hamm and they raised five children. Kathy worked part time at various jobs and full time at home. She was happiest when all of the kids were at home. She loved to cook big meals and telling stories to the children and grandchildren. She also looked forward to the annual girls week with her mother and sisters. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Bernice Sandberg; brother Dick Sandberg. She is survived by husband Dwayne Hamm; children Tom of Coon Rapids, Roger (Wendy) of Cambridge, Gary (Tammy) of Monticello, Bobby , Theresa and fiancee JR of Coon Rapids, grandchildren Michael, Amy, Ashley, Derek, Faith (adopted), Searra (JR's daughter), great-grandchildren Emma, Calob, Ali, Jackson.
