Obituary of Robert Kenmir
Robert Scott Kenmir, 51, of Roseville died on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at his home.
He was born January 1, 1961 at St. Mary's Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Robert W. and Phyllis (Povlitzki) Kenmir. Rob grew up in the Rogers area and attended high school in Buffalo. After his schooling he worked at Jim Lupient Auto, and would go to begin his career in trucking in 1985. He bought his own truck and worked over the road since then, traveling throughout the entire United States.
In 1982 he was united in marriage to Tammy Olson at Epiphany Catholic Church in Coon Rapids. They lived a time in Rogers before purchasing a home in Coon Rapids. They had three children Robbie, John and Amanda. After divorcing in 1989, Rob remained in the Coon Rapids area, before moving to St. Francis. Rob lived with his special friend Eva Stevens in Maplewood and Roseville for 12 years until June 2011.
Robert enjoyed NASCAR, watching football, and trucking, especial his 379 Peterbilts with Cat engines. He took pride in knowing all the different roads throughout America, if anyone ever needed to know the best and quickest way to get somewhere he could certainly tell them.
He was preceded in death by his twin infant sons Joseph S. and Steven A. on February 28, 1987. Rob is survived by his sons Robbie (Morgan) Kenmir of Princeton, John (Danielle) Kenmir of Braham, daughter Amanda (Nicholas) Eich of Cambridge, grandchildren, Reagan, Hobson, Ella, Oliver, Paul, Clara, Logan, Levi, Garrett, Lily, Anna and Cooper, father Robert W. Kenmir of Anoka, mother Phyllis Kenmir of Buffalo, brothers Brian (Terri) Kenmir of Buffalo, Dave (Wendy) Kenmir of Coon Rapids, Lonnie (Nancy) of Vadnais Heights, sister Lynn St,. John of Golden Valley, as well as many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
