Dearest Joy and Christie and families,
My heart is sad for you now but happy that your beloved dad is in the presence of Jesus. Can you imagine what he is doing right now? He's probably building new mansions for all the newcomers to heaven! And you can bet they're built better than any of the other mansions there! Marty and I will keep you and your family close in prayer.

We are saddened to hear of Vernon's death. We always so enjoyed visiting with Vernon at various community events; especially his well-chosen jokes. He was indeed a blessing to all he met. Roger and Marian Eklund
We are so sorry to hear of the passing of our dear friend Vernon. We always looked forward to visiting with him at Christian Campers. He always had such a joyful spirit and we enjoyed how he radiated his joy of Christ. We enjoyed hearing of some of his work constructing churches etc. and of course our sharing of jokes. He was a rare man and a wonderful asset to our society. He will be greatly missed.
Vernon, will be greatly missed,,, i have such wonderful memmories of all the family get togethers.

Dear Virginia and family,
It is sad to hear of Vernon's passing, but I am sure you are held up by your faith and the great memories of such a kind man.
I have fond memories of Vernon from early years when Joy, Joyce and I made up an entire grade at Hiawatha.
Vernon always remembered who I was when we would meet and was always interested in my progress in life.
He was truely a great man and will be missed by many.
