Obituary of Dorothy V. Woolcott

Dorothy Virginia Woolcott age 96 of Cambridge, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at GracePointe Crossing Gables-West on April 11, 2016. Dorothy was the adopted daughter of Fred and Sarah Hirt. She grew up and attended school in the Anoka area. Dorothy married Andy Tronson and was blessed with three children; Tony and twins Sarah and Sam. She married Harvey Woolcott and was again blessed with a daughter Ila. Dorothy lived in the St. Francis/Bethel area, later in Isanti and finally in Cambridge. She enjoyed sewing, reading and loved nature ,especially hiking and picnics. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Fred, Richard , Gilbert and Charles Hirt. She is survived by her children Sarah Tronson of Isanti, Tony Tronson of Iowa, Sam Tronson of Iowa and Ila (James) Kunshier of Cambridge; 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
