So shocked and saddened at Bridget's passing. She called me when John R. passed and I considered her, John, and Dan as friends. So much to share, but for now...Rosary for her and family. Great lady.

Dear Robert and Gloria and Armen,
I'm terribly sorry for your loss, I wish I would have been able to attend the service. She was always a wonderful person to be around and was always happy when my mom would take me to her place for a visit. I wish you best in this trying time.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I had the privilege of serving with Bridget on the MNAHPERD Board of Directors for many years. She was an inspiration to me and a person I considered a very dear friend. I missed her very much when she stepped down from our board and will miss even more now. She was a an exceptional teacher, mentor, leader, and friend to MNAHPERD. She will be greatly missed. Nancy Christensen, Executive Director, MNAHPERD

Dear beloved friends and family of Dr. Duoos',
I am incredibly sorry for your loss. I was in utter shock and disbelief when I first heard about her passing. Due to work obligations I was unable to attend her service today. I've had the privilege of having Dr. Duoos as my advisor my freshman year and as my professor for two upper-level undergraduate courses this past year at UST. I am grateful to have spent my last year with her and it would be an understatement to say that Dr. Duoos has made my college experience remarkable. She was personable, energetic, supportive, and full of life. It is clear to me as well as the students of the HHP department and the UST community that Dr. Duoos was dedicated to her career and students. She was inspirational and influential, and if I am half a person that she was, I would consider myself blessed. Without her guidance and support throughout my four years of college, I don't think I would be where I am at now. She had taken the time out of her busy schedule this past January to write me a letter of recommendation for post-bacc programs for medical school. I am proud to say that I was accepted and will be completing my medical school pre-reqs in California early August. Please know that her impact and teachings will live on as I make my journey to medical school. I hope to one day treat my patients with the same smile, patience, and kindness that she has treated me. It'll be hard not to think of Dr. Duoos whenever I see a Snickers bar or Springer Spaniels. She will be in my thoughts. Thank you for opening your arms to the UST community during this heart wrenching day.

I went through the Cambridge school system with Bridget, since she was a 'D' and I was a 'G' we were seated close together in classes. Bridget had THE greatest sense of humor!, and everyone who knew her loved and appreciated her for that.
I'm sorry to hear of her health struggles and passing. My condolences to her family and friends.

Dear Armen and family,
We were so very sad to hear of Bridget's sudden passing and offer our heartfelt condolences to all of you. Our memories of Bridget and Armen are from soccer games at the Falcon Hts fields, played with a bunch of aging cross country skiers and other locals who came together one night a week to play pick up soccer. Actually, it was mostly a chance for us to get some exercise while kicking a ball, or trying to stop one. This was Armen's way of building community and including many types of people in a fun way, Bridget, I remember, when she could come, was great fun to have in the scrum. She played with abandon and added heart while laughing along with all of our antics. Some very special memories were created on those fields of fun.

Mrs. Duoos was an amazing woman and a super fun professor! Always giving us snickers in Biomechanics while teaching us how everything functions together! I'll always remember her giant personality in such a tiny frame! Oh how she loved cross country skiing! Her boomerang lab will always be my favorite memory! We threw them across the football field of UST nearly being nailed ourselves as we tried to retrieve them before the second wave of boomerangs flew! She will surely be missed.
To the family...thank you for lending Dr. Duoos to us to experience a portion of her amazing personality. Your loss is existing in all of our hearts and our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Blessings to you and yours.
Fantashia.

Dear Armen and Family,
I am so very sorry to learn of Bridget's passing. I was her colleague at UST from 2011-2014. During that time, I thoroughly enjoyed working with her. Her enthusiasm, dedication, and delight in her students was contagious. She was a wonderful colleague and friend and I have many fond memories of her. I know, from many conversations, that her primary love was her family. Thank you for sharing her with us.
All my best,
Jolynn Gardner
