Obituary of George J. Rakos

George J. Rakos Jr., age 90 of Cambridge, passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 20, 2016. George was a Merchant Marine serving from December 7, 1941 to December 31, 1946. He was preceded in death by his wife Winifred “Winnie”; parents George Sr. and Veronica; brothers Stephen and John and sister Ann (Bud) Stoltman. He is survived by his brothers Paul (Sue Carmichael) Rakos, Steve (Sally) Rakos; sister Dorothy "Dodie (Roger) Rugland and Lori Rakos; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
