We are so sorry to hear this news about Jim. He was the left guard on our Cambridge Bluejacket football team and I was fortunate to play left tackle next to this exceptional athlete. Back in the the 1960's it was always said that Coach Larson's Bluejacket guards were regarded as the best athletes on the team. Jimmy fit that description to a T and he was also a wonderful guy. He was always cheerful and was an enjoyable personality on teams that had plenty of interesting characters! I think back to those days and it strikes me more as time goes by how special those years and experiences truly were! I can recall and laugh about stuff back then that seems like it happened just yesterday. So rest in peace #66. You were one heck of a guy and we will all remember you with great admiration and joy.
