Dear Olson Family - I am sending my sympathy on behalf of my mom (Ida Neis) and myself! Thank You Larry, for calling me of your father's passing. My dad (Valentine) was a friend of Walter Gustafson, and dad used to drive up to Cambridge to Walter's cabin. They always stopped for coffee/lunch at the local café to visit with the 'guys', which always included 'Ole'. Mom & I got to meet Loretta & Ole when we drove to their house for a visit. I remember when we were on the way out to leave, Ole had to show us all the vegetables he had grown and was going to enter at the State Fair.
He was so proud of them!
Mom was also impressed that Ole called her on occasion after Dad's passing in 2011, which was such a thoughtful thing to do!
