I got to know Bert while delivering Communion to her once a month. I looked forward to our visits, her feisty personality, and her love of her family.
It was my privilege to work with her grandsons in theatre at the high school, so we spent a lot of time catching up on what they were doing and sharing her great pride in them.
I will miss her, but I am happy for her ...
She added much to my life and everyone she came in contact with ...
