Matthew Allen. A true red blooded American i served with and suffered with in Fort Benning is a man i will never forget. I remember the days drill sergeant smith was our cq drill sergeant and made us run laps around the pt pit holding sand bags above our head and sending cordero into a stroke. That day i will never forget. Even in that pain and agony you still managed to make people smile. You will be deeply missed in my heart and many others. I wish you a peaceful rest and loud hooah to you and your family.

Hi, I went through basic training with Matt in 2016. I just wanna say thank you for bringing such a good man into this world! He has touched my life and many of the other soldiers who knew him. The first picture i ever took with Matthew. I sent him this picture when I finally found it again about 2 or 3 months ago, he told me how mad he was that he never smiled in any of them. He had such an amazing contagious smile.
