Obituary of Sharon Lindgren
The Lord now has another angel to help him watch over all of us - Sharon E. Lindgren, 67, of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at her home after ten years of courageously battling several debilitating and painful medical conditions.
Sharon was born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1945 to Tom and Hazel Pratt in Minneapolis. She graduated from Centennial High School in Circle Pines. After graduation, Sharon lived with her Grandma Pratt while working as a waitress and then sorting mail at Investor's Diversified, Inc. Sharon then found a job at the Cambridge State Hospital, where she met Peter John, a co-worker. They got married on November 8, 1965. Sharon, Pete and son Peter Shane lived in Germany for a while, where Pete was stationed. After moving back to Cambridge, Sharon and Pete were active members of Cambridge Lutheran Church. Children were always very important to Sharon, from the time her siblings were born and she took care of them, right up to the time she died. She was so very proud of her son, Peter, and her grandchildren. She took special delight in their accomplishments.
Sharon is survived by her husband Peter John Lindgren, son Peter Shane Lindgren of Cambridge, 6 grandchildren. Erik Lindgren, Shannon Lindgren, Kailen Lindgren, Brianne Lindgren, Nikki Pratt and Michelle Schule, 3 great-grandchildren, brothers Dave Pratt, Tom Pratt both of Cambridge, Tim (Gayle) Pratt of Brook Park, sisters Debby (Juan) Rangel of Eden Prairie, Becky Rudenick of Brooklyn Center, and aunt Myrt Rudenick of Brooklyn Center.
